Moving on… again
Well, the past week was a moving one. Terminating contact, becoming sick, belated spring-cleaning and much more.Well, the past week was a moving one. Terminating contact, becoming sick, belated spring-cleaning and much more.
So, what happened? In short, I broke up all communication lines with the girl I fancied. The reason? She found someone else (but prohibiting herself from doing anything from there). As I don’t want to drag myself through a situation like that again, I decided it was best to give it all a rest, take my loss and perhaps hope for the best in the future (after all, I remain by my opinion that we could actually turn out quite nice together). Time will tell.
On to part two: workload is stressing. In the past I always managed to know my daily schedule by heart. Nowadays I have to keep a to-do list, check my calendar every evening to know where I’ll be going the next morning, etc. On the positive side, even though I may not be replacing my predecessor perfectly, I picked up some signal that the ‘working crowd’ actually prefer my approach. Although I can’t fill in all the blanks for the people, they are happy with the attention I give them. At least that’s one goal I reached…
Next up: Wii-ing! A few weeks ago, I took my Wii to work. Although I was pretty sure most people would just see it as a gimmick, word about it travelled fast. Within a few hours, people from other parts of the building asked whether they could join in on the fun. Well, it’s everyone’s party of course. After that, arrangements came for the Wii-venge, which will happen tomorrow. Now even project management is participating. This could be fun…
And finally, health. During the past few years I’ve complained quite a lot about my health, but at the same time I nearly always went back to work sooner than I should had. The result? Sickness-symptoms for nearly 4 years straight. And again, I’m feeling sick… sore throath, feeling like I’m a walking towel, slow, etc. Now tonight might either help or break me completely: it’s futsal (indoor-soccer) time! Let’s see how this’ll turn out…

You have to make a video of your coworkers playing Wii and post it on DS-X2. We’ll make a feature out of it or something.
