Wii Fit has been released about a month ago here in Europe. However, today at a large electronics store it looked like the game was made of solid gold.

Insanity at the Media Markt here in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I happened to stroll through the aisles just when an employee decided to drive in a pallet filled with Wii Fit packages. That was exactly when the chaos started.

I know, I should had taped this using my mobile phone, but honestly there wasn’t even enough time to get the phone from my pocket and start the camera-function: people went crazy! Within approximately 2 minutes, the pallet was carried in and available to return to the back of the store… emptied. People carrying Wii Fit EVERYWHERE. I have to admit that I’ve only seen Wii units once since the release of the console, but honestly I can’t imagine that all of those people currently in the store owned a Wii [i]and[/i] were looking for a Wii Fit unit.

At that point, I nearly started to feel guilty about owning Wii Fit since the release (actually, one day prior to the official release) and not having touched it for a week…
